My youngest collects everything she finds, bits of plastic, lost toys, broken toys, leaves, dead bugs, living bugs. Our house is filled with tiny little things, that to me look like garbage, but to her are precious. I reflected on what kind of treasures, I kept in my pockets (other than receipts), It wasn’t a far leap to the things I “saved” on Instagram. Things to show people later, recipes I must make, a house, I would some day buy Equally as worthless, when amassed in such an amount, but lots of potential individually.
